The Space:
Amaroo One by Tiny Away is a hilltop retreat located in Minimbah, just 30 minutes from Forster with breathtaking views of the 3 Brothers Mountain range, Hallidays Point, and the Pacific Ocean. It’s a working cattle and equine training property, allowing you to bring your own horses for training. Amaroo is eco-conscious with off-grid power and a pet-friendly fenced area. Nearby attractions include Cape Hawke Lookout, Wallis Lake, The Artisan Farmer, One Mile Beach, and Barrington Tops National Park.
A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the tiny home and its immediate surroundings, but please note the main residence, guest house, and sheds are off-limits as they are occupied or used for farm operations. For safety, the paddocks are also restricted since cattle may be present. You can enjoy about 1km of roadways for walking or relax under the trees at the equine center. If you’re unsure about access or have questions, feel free to ask Paul or Anke.
Guests who want to see the animals up close can request it from the owners, Paul and Anke. You are welcome to bring your own horses for training by calling Anke Hawke @ Balanced Dressage. The key safety rule is to avoid entering any livestock paddocks unless accompanied by one of the owners

Getting Around:
By car:
- From Sydney, it's a 3-hour drive covering 275 km. The nearest towns are 10 minutes away, about 8 km from the property.
- Accessible by 2WD.
By public transport:
- Car, bike, or horse are the only ways to reach the property. While you can call a taxi from Forster, availability can be limited and fares may be high.
By flight:
- You can fly into Taree Airport, which is about 45 minutes from Amaroo One. From there, you’ll need to arrange private transport to reach the property.

- Smoking is not allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power
- Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- We kindly request that you bring biodegradable products to ensure that greywater runoff flows easily and does not harm the environment.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
