They tried to give us a lower level room than what we paid for. When we confronted them about this, they made excuses, and when we told them we were contacting hotels.com, they badgered us about taking the room (there was also concerns about cleanliness and safety as the people in line before us found a used needle in their bed). We decided to cancel our stay and find somewhere safer and cleaner that had better business ethics.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Coratel. The entire place, including the room and pillows, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made it very uncomfortable. The hallways were not clean, and the overall hygiene of the hotel left much to be desired. To top it off, the food was not good either. I expected a much better experience and would not recommend this hotel to others.

Carpet was old, smelling hotel for the name called suite, smells like cigarettes and weed, breakfast could have been better, towels were old and ragged , dryer was fried, and we had no hotel service for one day. I would not recommend this place.

A place to stay. Nothing too crazy or fancy. Other guests were interesting, but you'll always get that. The cleanliness on the outside could be better, but I've stayed at worse. This is our second time there and would absolutely stay there again!

The room was a bit empty and had hard flooring with no carpet. The walls are thin and you can hear everything outside, plus the non stop pounding from upstairs at 3am. Breakfast was frozen waffles with a toaster, bread and butter, with two choices of juice. The staff was great though. I would say it was exactly what we paid for, so it is what was expected.

You can smell cigarettes in the hallway, there’s no elevator, breakfast was just bagels and breads. The bathroom in my room was draining so slow, tv in the room only turned on and off but can’t change channels, no wifi.

Just don’t

I believe the hotel is infested with mold, as it has a similar smell. The “newly remodeled” is paint splattered all over the hotel. There’s paint on the carpets, all over hand rails and everywhere. The room itself looked… okay. There were two ceiling lights missing a face plate and a weird coat hanger hook that looked to weigh 5 pounds barely hanging from the wall, partially screwed in. Staff were confusing on how to go about getting a refund. Will be reporting the hotel to the city, avoid at all costs.
