OK value stay in Minneapolis area

The hotel was understaffed at check-in. We waited 5+ minutes at the front desk to check-in. The beds were very comfortable. The refrigerator in the room did not work, which didn't matter for us but should have been checked. The room had an odd smell when we arrived but seemed to abate. The hotel backs up to a trucking company so lots of back up beeping early in the morning. Breakfast was managed as best it could be with the crowd.

When I got to my room there was NOTHING on the bed, just the mattress. Same with the bathroom no towels and not “put together”. Had to go back down and get put into a different room. There was constant noise from trucks backing up at the warehouse next door.

our card was overcharged $50 to cover incidentals. We had to call the hotel back and were told it would be removed. I hate dealing with a bill back charges on my card - just another hassle to deal with and keep track of to make sure it's been removed. We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times but this was our last.
