The Quality Inn-Midway was anything but quality, precisely the opposite. The stench was nothing in comparison to the utter shock I received while walking to my room. The carpet and walls, stained with bodily fluids and doors hanging by the hinges with holes put through them by police boots. The room was nothing short of impressive; I’ve never seen such a disgusting place. I closed the door to find fresh screw holes and a lock secured with electrical tape. The walls were peeling and bathroom stained a nicotine-yellow. The heater was on and boy was it working, set to 86 degrees the heat facilitated the release of the indescribable aroma. I lasted 15 minutes in this house of horrors before I had to book something else immediately and FAST. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

The whole place was not good. The doors to the rooms I reserved didnt have proper locks, the blankets and shower curtains had burn holes, the floor in one of the rooms was warped and uneven, the tv in the other room didnt work, no food at "the onsite restaurant".

cliente staying there not desirable, could not get heat in room and outside temperature was -22. heater blew loud and cold air coming apart from wall!! very cold and couldn't stay my 2nd night. i didn't dare go outside the room as a white woman.

Never got any clean towels during 3 night stay nor was our room ever tidied up. The area was very noisy at night both inside the units and outside in the parking area. Breakfast was ridiculous, a box of cereal and a loaf of bread is not adequate. Just don’t serve breakfast and lower rates

The only good thing was the bed was comfortable. parking was limited, the centennial breakfast was nearly non existent, the hallways stunk of smoke even though there was no smoking allowed. The audacity to have a sign up saying no refund or room switch will be given if you don’t say anything within 15 mins of checking in is ridiculous given it takes just about that time to get your bags from the car, to your room and even take time in inspect or realize any issues. There were rooms that were “fixed” with tape and a random screen in front of it. My room had a piece of paper painted over a hole in the wall. the water pressure was weak, and the showerhead leaked as well. And don’t get me started on the wifi constantly going out if you can even get it to work to begin with because their authenticating licensing is expired. I also had to listen to beeping from a dying battery from a carbon monoxide alarm that I informed front desk about twice. If having free parking is worth everything else, then sure, stay here. otherwise it’s a bust.

I'm only giving two stars because the staff corrected a major issue with my booking. The staff overall was helpful but I believe the manager, Kim, was the best. The first notable thing you'll notice is the smell. The entire first floor smelled of cigarettes even though there is no smoking signs everywhere. The second floor where my room was located smelled of cigarettes and curry and harsh cleaning chemical trying to mask the two ordors unsuccessfully. Fortunately the smell mostly didn't carry into the room, but the hallways were unbearable. Second was the bedding had cigarette burns throughout. Again, this is supposed to be a smoking free stay. Evidence showed otherwise.

Staff was very nice upon check in and check out. In the room, the toilet had hair all over the back of the seat. No hand soap. The closet door didn’t shut. The internet connection was decent, but not great. Also, our shower tub drained so slow it turned into a bath after 10 minutes. If the room was properly cleaned, the cleaning staff would know that. Also looked like a can of soda exploded onto the wall and was never even wiped down.

The pictures on this site are not what you are getting. The place is a hole! It is a nonsmoking property but smells horrible of smoke even in the room. There were bugs on the walls. There is a sign that says you have 15 minutes to file a complaint, well when the doors dont work and takes you 15 minutes plus to finally get in. Just a dump with not very helpful staff. TV didnt work right and you can clearly hear the people around your room as if they were in your room. I have never given a property such a bad review but this was for sure a bait and switch!
