Visiting family in Mo I Rana. We found this budget hotel perfectly suited our needs. Staff were helpful. The hotel was very quiet despite being in an old house, and many guests. Breakfast was sufficient and adequate. Location was good.

Unprofessional staff

There are 2 places this hotel owns. There is the one that is shown in the photo and the other locate in thr central, where you have to share the bathroom and kitchen with other guests. If the rate is cheaper, it is most likely in this share apartment. When I arrived at the hotel in the late night, the hotel staff told me that there is a problem. He said that my name is unusual and thay thought that I was a boy. So they put me the share apartment where only boys stay. He tried to help me to find the other hotel, but there are no hotels available. At least this staff is very kind and helpful. But I didn’t have any choices to stay there. The room was clean and secured. However it was located in the central. Since it was summer time, it was very noisy until 2-3 o’clock. Hardly could sleep. What I disappointed the most was that though I asked to leave my baggage after checking out since my flight was very late, they said that their boss allowed to do it. I felt that this hotel is no service at all, how can they think that I could move around with heavy baggage for 6 hours. So I had to change the earlier flight. Luckily I could book it, but the day I left was Sunday, I requested a hotel staff to make a reservation for the taxi. But he said that I should go to the train station and the taxies always were waiting there. In the end, there were no taxi in the station. So I had to ask a help to the stranger. I really don’t recommend to stay there.

Cover the basics well.

As expected for the price range. No AC will make for warm nights if weather is good but no real problem. Friendly and forthcoming staff. Basic breakfast. Quiet area of the city but short distance to city center and restaurants with discount at their own.
