Spacious detached house, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, magnificent terrace of 70m2 facing south with breathtaking view on the Mediterranean Sea (180°) including shaded area, private pool, private garage, "hard" barbecue, air conditioning in the living room, spacious kitchen very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave). WiFi, television with French and Spanish channels. Sea view on the whole front of the house, all the photos are taken from the villa. Very calm situation, all comfort, careful decoration, decreasing rates according to the duration.
An ideal place to relax and disconnect while enjoying the activities of Mojacar Playa. Wake up with the sea view and the lapping of the waves and in the evening, a magnificent sunset over the mountains.

The villa is up an incredibly steep hill, much further up than we thought on the map. We had to hire a car, otherwise we would not have enjoyed our holiday. There was a good amount of parking for the car plus under cover and gates for my husband and his friend to keep their motorbikes dry and safe.The pool was smaller than expected but was very well kept, clean and the maintenance man came on Wednesday to clean it. We used it a few times and it was nice to have it. There was only 3 sun beds and 3 cushions - strange when our booking was for 4. One of the sun beds was broken, however my husband found a brand new one in the storage place, so we used that.The villa was very clean, however it is rather dated inside. The double bedroom was large with a comfy double bed and lots of storage. The on-suite looked new and was very nice. The twin bedroom, was a good size but our friend said the mattress kept moving, but was comfy. The 2nd bathroom as also newish and good.The kitchen had everything you wanted, cooker, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. Lots of crockery, glasses , cups and utensils but not matching.The villa has stunning views and was very peaceful and relaxing outside. There was undercover dining and seating, if you want to get out of the sun.Unfortunately, we did have an issue with cockroaches on 3 occasions, they appear to be coming up the drain in the shower. There was cockroaches spray under the sink, so it appears ghis must be an issue.

Property could do with a some maintenance and updating, outside area is very nice, pool is overlooked and not heated so refreshing (24* in May) It is up in the hills so you need to be fit to walk to the beach.

Stunning views

A really beautiful place to stay. Just a short drive to the beach which you could walk (but you'd have to walk back uphill). The views and the sound of the sea is amazing. It was so quiet. Aircon was fantastic in the main bedroom. The pool was super clean and used every day to cool off. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. You have everything you need for your stay including an iron and an iron board and a hairdryer. All pots and pans included. Don't hesitate to book :)

Wonderful sea view...great stay

Our stay started before Corona virus and we were delighted to find there many good restaurants nearby which were open early in the season. The nearest supermarket and the beach for walking our labrador is a 1minute drive or a 15 minute walk away..the dog loves to swim. The house itself has all you need for two, or even four people..too cold to swim in the pool in January/February but there is an effective and welcoming log burning fire...which we needed!..the patio outside however is the best part of the house..to eat and to relax (or to sunbathe later in the year!) The lockdown of coronavirus kept us longer than anticipated and Stephanie could not have been more obliging in extending our stay..the house is quite isolated and so was ideal for social distancing..we plan to return when things are back to normal.

A little piece of paradise in Mojácar!

Absolutely amazing villa, best views in Mojácar. Stephanie was very helpful and we had a fantastic holiday. The villa is up the hillside and 10 minutes walk down to the beach and restaurants. Private and secluded with parking on the villa’s large driveway. Homely and well equipped Clean and cared for. Good WiFi. We really want to stay here again,

Location & Villa

We enjoyed our stay at this villa and the view was as advertised, beautiful. There are a couple of things that let it down. Firstly, there were no directions provided on how to find the villa from the airport and the location is hard to find, especially when arriving late at night and in the dark. Secondly there was no welcome pack, detailing local restaurants or local information, most importantly emergency numbers etc. The villa itself was clean but needs some updating and general maintenance to tidy it up. Outside I would say is not child friendly and there is no mid week clean. This villa is more suited to adults who want a quiet and peaceful holiday (as we did) and happy to ignore the attention to detail, an example of this is outside there are 3 sun loungers and not 4, the pool lights weren’t working, the outside furniture has been basically repaired to a poor standard and was not comfortable, all minor things but as this is what you are expecting from a holiday, you tend to notice these things. There is air con but only in the main living area and not in the bedrooms. The air con overflow also floods the veranda so it’s a clean up before the day starts. On the whole this villa could offer so much more we a little loving care, but we did enjoy our holiday all the same.

Wonderful villa with unending views!

This amazing villa warrants more than a 5 star rating. The location of this villa is situated on a hill overlooking Mojacar Playa with views that do not stop and do not disappoint. The terrace is protected from the sun with the beautiful swimming pool only a few steps away. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one may need to prepare meals. The villa offers two full bathrooms, ample room for parking, fireplace. living area and lovely dining area. This property is only a 5 minute drive to the sea. We chose to walk down to the playa a few times keeping in mind that we had to walk back up, which was a good way to burn off calories from eating ice cream in town. We enjoyed evenings relaxing on the terrace and taking advantage of the cool ocean breezes and beautiful sunsets. Stephanie and Vernoique are very nice to work with and addressed any issues we had in a very prompt and friendly manner. It was hard for us to leave this property as after a few days it felt like home. If you are looking for rental villa in Mojacar, do not pass this little gem up. We have stayed in many places throughout Europe. This villa provided charm, fabulous location, privacy, great access to shops, restaurants, beaches, Mojacar Pueblo, and it was quiet. Thank you Stephanie, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Villa with a wonderful terrace and a stunning view

We spend 2 weeks in Casa Colina. We loved the terrace and the wonderful view. The villa are located in a quiet area and has a nice pool. The host Stéphanie was very attentive and easy to communicate with.There are lots of nice restaurants in Mojacar and also beautiful places to see nearby.The villa could use some maintenance. New sunbeds would also be nice.We had a wonderful stay and would like to come back to Casa Colina again.

Stunning view from the house, very calm and quiet on top of the hill with almost no traffic. The manager was easy to communicate with. The view is insane, the sound of quietness and waves is just what you need to calm down. The house, pool etc. are clean. All needs like toaster, dishwash, washingmachine, towels are there. Its close to various beaches, many places to eat and the big mercadona. Communication with owner was oustanding clear. Worth every penny if you ask me. Recommend car-hire tho, due to up/downhill streets.
