4-room apartment of 115 m² on the ground floor of a villa surrounded by olive, orange, lemon and mimosa trees located less than 2 km from the beaches of the Côte d'Azur and downtown Menton , and at the beginning of the valley which leads to the famous village of Sainte Agnès, the highest coastal village in Europe.
The countryside in town! Parking on the property. Terrace with 8-person table, deckchairs and south-west facing barbecue which will allow you to enjoy the sun all year round.
All comforts, including sheets, towels, iron, hair dryer, wifi and cleaning at the end of the stay.
Air conditioning installed in the 3 bedrooms.
Sleeps: 1 bedroom with 160x200 bed, 1 bedroom with 140x190 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 90x190 beds + 2 drawers 90x190, 1 sofa bed in living room. Necessary for young children.

Let me start by saying Raymond Cathy and their son are very nice people. However the flat although as described is old and tired just like my husband and me! What isn’t said is that it is not suitable for older people with mobility issues. The walk from the car to the flat and back again is so steep that I dreaded it. If we forgot something we didn’t go back!! The area of Menton where the flat is located is run down and the road is narrow crowded with parked cars and dangerous again just winding steep hills. Kitchen ok microwave inaccessible if you’re under 6 foot. No hot water for 4 days but Raymond did try his best and fixed it but still was hit and miss. Sorry Raymond for this poor review but I am being honest If we were younger we would have moved but having booked for a month it would have been impossible to find a place.

Beautiful spot in a great City

Raymond took care of us from start to finish, from greeting us to sharing his fresh picked oranges and lemons. The house is perfectly situated on the edge of the city with a bus stop right across the street that brings you right downtown. The three good sized bedrooms were more than enough for our family of five and even my mom at the end of the trip. Would highly recommend to anyone with a family and hope to visit again🙂

The best place

We totally enjoyed the apartment. The host was friendly and helpful. We travel throughout the Evropa for month and this was the best place to stay. Groceries store 5 minutes walking, the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for coking. I am giving this place 10.

Immaculate, spacious property in quiet residential area

If your preference is for quiet, homely accommodation look no further than this lovely property; - spotlessly clean with all amenities, including a/c in all bedrooms and a washing machine - very spacious and comfortable rooms - delightful hosts - secure property with off-street parking and electronic gate - local bus stop into town centre right outside front gate - supermarket just a few minute's walk, so convenient - great base from which to explore the region - highly recommend taking your bathers for a swim at Menton beach! All in all, a terrific place to stay.

Spacious and well equipped apartment

I and two friends stayed for a week at Raymond's apartment. Very friendly hosts, met us at the gate when we arrived, talked us through everything. Apartment is incredibly well equipped, minutes from an intermarche, and a 20 min walk to the train station and beach. Lovely outside patio with bbq facilities, honestly, we couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend this apartment for its comfort and location, you won't be disappointed..

Grand Prix stay

Location was perfect for our visit to the Monaco Grand Prix, outskirts of Menton so quieter than staying in town, appartement has all the facilities you would need was extremely comfortable and felt very homely. The owners were welcoming and friendly on our arrival, we took their advice and went to Le St Yves restaurant at St Agnes up in the hills, the food was excellent and extremely reasonable for all the food, let’s say we did not leave hungry! and the views beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend a stay here particularly for exploring the glorious Côte d’Azur.

Fabulous!

Our stay in Menton was delightful. The family welcomes us and were available whenever needed for advice. Raymond speaks a little English but his son excellent English so we managed to understand each other! The house was immaculate and had much needed air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms. The bus to Menton was only metres from the house and very cheap. The local supermarket was a 5 minute walk. Menton itself was lovely and access to other towns/cities easy on the trains. We all loved the house and the area and would love to return.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

A spacious apartment in a great location in Menton, perfect for a cycling holiday. Supermarket within walking distance and great bus service from the stop right next to the apartment. The host family were very friendly and helpful, and we'd like to go back some day

Nice and cosy villa

We had an excellent time in Menton at Raymond’s place. There were 5 of us - three adults and two children, and we felt very comfortable, in the house there is everything families would need. The owners are very friendly and nice people, easy to reach and always ready to help. The villa was perfectly prepared and we wanted to thank hosts for their effort to make our stay extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend the villa. Thank you so much!

Family Summer Holiday

We spent a week in here with an other family (8people) The hosts Raymond and Cathie were very lovely and helpful. We were provided more than needed, because not only the house was fully equipped but also it was with extras. Staying there was almost like staying at your own home. The house is very spacious and clean, more than big enough for 8 people... It is also ideal for families with kids. The beach and the centre is easily reachable by all means of transport. Big shopping centre is close by and restaurant and shops are not far. Very nice location. We highly recommend this place. Thank you. Chris and Viktoria

Wir haben diese geräumige Ferienwohnung für 6 Personen gebucht. Unsere Gastgeber waren wirklich sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. In der Ferienwohnung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt...von Spültabs bis zur Grillkohle war alles für die ersten Tage schon bereit gestellt. Alle Schlafräume sind klimatisiert. Wir haben eine sehr saubere und ordentliche Wohnung vorgefunden.An den ersten Tagen mussten wir uns noch an den Straßenlärm trotz geschlossener Fenster gewöhnen, aber das haben wir nach paar Tagen nicht mehr wahr genommen und konnten herrlich schlafen.Der Weg zum Strand ist etwas mühsam, nicht ganz nah und auch nicht ganz barrierefrei, sodass wir uns dsnn für den Bus entschieden haben. Pro Person kostete das grademal 1,80.Der Supermarkt in der Nähe ist goldwert. Von Menton aus kann hat man direkte Bus-oder Zugverbindungen nach Monaco und Nizza.Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.Ganz liebe Grüße!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in Menton

Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang durch die Gastgeber war herzlich und gut strukturiert. Die Unterkunft war problemlos zu finden und hat der Beschreibung voll entsprochen. Sehr sauber und sehr viel Platz. Es war alles da was man benötigt. Unsere Gastgeber waren immer schnell erreichbar und haben uns auch mit Ratschlägen unterstützt. Supermarkt, Tankstelle oder auch Bäcker, alles in nächster Umgebung und auch zu Fuß in wenigen Minute zu erreichen. Busverbindung zur Altstadt oder Strand wirklich vor der Unterkunft. Zur Altstadt ist man zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten unterwegs, aber mit Bus einfach zu erreichen, wenn man auf das Fahrzeug verzichten möchte. Rundum sehr schön hier und wir kommen gerne wieder. Menton ist sicherlich eine der schönsten Städte der ganzen Côte d’Azur.

Très bon séjour malgré le temps changeant

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille (franco-suisse) dans l'appartement de Raymond. Accueil chaleureux, hôtes très gentils, discrets, mais toujours disponibles. Centre de Menton proche, facilement joignable en bus ou à pied. Nous ne nous sommes pas ennuyés une minute malgré un temps peu favorable. Logement spacieux et agréable, un peu juste pour 4 couples (canapé-lit dans le passage). Équipement très bien. Par ailleurs, nous avons beaucoup apprécié que Raymond accepte la présence de notre chienne. Nous recommanderions tout à fait ce logement.

Très chouette!

Une location conforme à l'annonce. Des hôtes très gentils. Un sejour parfait pour nous 7. Nous etions a l'aise avec assez d'espace. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons ete gâté avec un cadeau de bienvenue l'emplacement était tresbien aussi pour les visites dans la region

Loin de chez soi mais comme à la maison.

Deux jours de trajet pour arriver dans ce havre de paix. Menton, le pays du citron ! Un gîte spacieux, pratique, bien équipé, de belles grandes chambres avec de vraies placards et des propriétaires accueillants et sympathiques. Emplacement idéal pour rayonner en voiture ou en bus, vers le centre historique de Menton, vers Monaco, son casino, ses voitures de luxe, son musée automobile et j'en passe..., ou encore Eze et son jardin exotique extraordinaire. Dix jours passés bien trop vite...mais de magnifiques souvenirs. Encore merci à Raymond et son épouse de nous avoir accueilli avec tant de gentillesse et de nous avoir fait goûté un miel délicieux. Cela fait du bien aussi d'être loin de chez soi mais de se sentir comme à la maison.
