Four Seasons - accommodation in Monaco

We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The room was clean and the balcony was a nice place to relax. The pool area was clean and the pool was outstanding with beautiful views all around. The staff were friendly and polite. We did have to wait a bit when looking for service at the pool, it seems the bell for contacting staff may have been faulty but the maintenance staff sorted that out without issue. We enjoyed our breakfast with a varied choice to suit all tastes. We found the dinner menu to be a bit lacking in choice and the food was a bit bland, for example, the Thai chicken curry seemed to lack spice. The bar area was nice, with inside and outside seating and we found the staff to be helpful and polite, as were the staff at reception and in the breakfast and dining room. There isn’t really anything to complain about as a hotel of choice but it is rather remote, so unless you are driving your own or a rental car, transport to and from Eze village or beyond via taxi or uber are rather expensive for the distance travelled, which cannot be done as a pedestrian on foot. There are no pavements on the road to and from the hotel into Eze village.
