Front counter staff were lovely and friendly however Hôtel not like the photos very small, bathroom you could not move! It was ridiculous! Car park very small didbt bother with the breakfast wish we never stayed there no view of the water either. Rooms not soundproof Menton a big miss for us!

My partner and I spent 2 nights, enjoying very much the proximity to both the old town, the beach, and the train and bus stations as it sits in-between them all. For breakfast the Boulanger 2 blocks up was wonderful. Wish we had taken the breakfast back to the room and enjoyed on the generous balcony of the hotel room. The hotel feels like it might need some updating soon, but overall charming.

Perfect Stay

We loved Hotel Chambord! Great location! Parking garage was a big bonus. Our room was spacious and cleaned meticulously every day. What was most special about this hotel were the people working at the front desk. They were informative and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Menton.

The bed was very comfortable, the room very spacious and well decorated and the shower was great. Staff were very friendly. However, the temperature of the building was way too hot - we turned air con off in our room immediately (as it did not run cold, only hot) and kept windows open our whole stay despite it being January. As a result, it was very noisy from the street below except between 11pm and 5am.

Nice hotel but some improvements could be made.

The hotel looks newly refurbished and it was nice and clean. Rooms are pretty basic (no more superior than any Premier Inn I have stayed in). There is a fridge in the room which was empty (would have been nice to have some complementary water). There was no kettle/tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom is nice however the walk in shower has the shower set in the wrong place. During a shower all the water sprays out onto to floor leaving a big puddle to wade through and clean up afterwards. Our stay was okay but nothing special. Just to note that if you don't book the most expensive room, you will get a room at the back of the hotel. I booked a superior room and had a mountain view.
