For example, you can go to the big supermarket and chances are, the lady at the checkout will know every other person There’s also a large public pool in a beautiful outdoor space that is free entry 5 minute walk away. there's lots to see and to do

Water heating system is very inconsistent--temperature fluctuates madly when you shower. Also need some more supplies--just a few extra toilet papers would be appreciated. The apartment is very nice and the view is incredible--worth the three flights of stairs! Monchique is a wonderful little village.
