The Space:
The Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away is the ultimate tiny house Victoria escape in Monegeetta, nearby Mount Macedon, Hanging Rock Winery, Holgate Brewhouse, Camels Hump- Hanging Rock, and Hanging Rock Summit Walk are a few of the recommended attractions our vacationers enjoy.
A cozy, 157-square-foot off-grid farm stay with a lofted queen bed, ground-floor couch, pot-bellied stove, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The kitchenette includes cooking tools, cutlery, and a portable electric cooler. Our bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Keep in mind that there may be other residences on the property that guests will rent out, so you may run into them when roaming around the property.
As part of the off-grid experience, this tiny home is powered by a modest solar system. To keep the lights on and your stay uninterrupted, we encourage mindful energy use—just the essentials when needed.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the surrounding areas, including the front garden and tennis court. Additionally, we would like to remind guests that this tiny home promotes sustainable living in nature.
If you're interested, pick-ups and drop-offs in town can be arranged with your host with at least 24 hours' notice.
The Neighborhood:
Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away sits in the quiet suburbs of Monegeetta, on the easternmost point of the beautiful Macedon Ranges. The ideal farm stay is best known for its expansive native forests, iconic geographical attraction, and artisan food, and wine industries. There is also a good swimming area down the creek.
For outdoor adventure, Camel’s Hump offers excellent hiking with stunning views of Hanging Rock. If you prefer a more relaxed stroll, the pram-friendly path at Hanging Rock takes you through the reserve with easy access to local flora and fauna. Nearby, you’ll find the Hanging Rock Winery and the popular Summit Walk, two of the region's top attractions.
Getting Around:
By car: 10 mins to Romsey
28 mins to Woodend
30 mins to Kyneton
25 mins to Hanging Rock
30 mins to Mount Macedon.
By public transport: Southern cross station to Clarkefield station (about 10 mins away). You can arrive by taxi or arrange for us to pick you up at the station.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please be advised that we have cattle on our property
- Solar-powered with a small fan provided. Policies and reminders will be sent before booking
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $30. This is a pet-friendly property, and full pet policies will be provided before your arrival

- Outdoor fire pits are available, except during a total fire ban.
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
