Set among the vineyards and olive trees of this 5th generation family of wine and olive oil producers, this 6th century convent has been beautifully and functionally restored to a lovely 8(?) apartment country farm stay. Matteo, the owner, is very hands-on, warm and friendly and full of local knowledge. Be sure to take advantage of the very large pool with plenty of chairs and loungers and shaded areas. The 12 minute drive to Montalcino, yet far enough away from the bustle, makes this an ideal stay to explore this area of Tuscany.
