Paris is 130 km via the A6 / A77 / N7 and one hour by train from Bercy. The village is in the heart of the Loing Valley, the central artery of Gâtinais which reveals over the walks all the richness of its historical heritage: ruin of pagan temple, amphitheater and ancient Roman baths, remains of an old commandery of the Knights Templar by the order of Malta. The region is crossed by the famous Briare canal which connects the Loire to the Seine via Chenevières, Châtillon-Coligny, Buissière, Gien, Briare ... The natural heritage is not outdone: arboretum and remarkable gardens, forest of Orleans, not to mention the banks of the Loire, "last wild river of Europe". Shops and restaurants also enliven the heart of the village.
