Lovely house and a fantastic panoramic view from the terras on Monte San Savino. By electric bike it takes 5 minutes; on foot 20. Good restaurants. From the house you can visit great sites in all directions; Cortina, Muntepulciano, Pienza, Firenze, Siena, Arezzo. Very kind owner makes the picture compleet. Highly recommended for a longer stay.

Entgegen einer alten Rezension haben wir die Unterkunft problemlos gefunden. Die Lage ist sehr schön, etwas außerhalb von Monte San SAvino mit einem guten Blick auf die Altstadt. Meistens war es auch recht ruhig, doch hatten wir das Pech, dass häufiger laute Gartenarbeiten stattgefunden haben. Auch gab es offensichtlich zahlreiche Hunde in der Umgebung, die sich mit Bellen gegenseitig angestachelt haben, so dass es auch in der Nacht gelegentlich unruhig wurde.Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr schön, wir hatten selbst einen Hund dabei, der in dem weitläufigen Garten gut laufen konnte. Die Vermieterin hat nicht im Anwesen gewohnt, war aber täglich ansprechbar.Die Ausstattung der gesamten Wohnung war gut, lediglich der Kühlschrank hatte nur die Ausmaße, wie man sie in einem Wohnmobil erwarten könnte. Alles andere war sehr schön. Bei heißen Temperaturen blieb es insbesondere im Schlafzimmer immer kühl, was sehr angenehm war. Insgesamt haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in der Limonaia verbracht. Die ruhige Lage, die Ausstattung der Wohnung, der Blick auf Monte San Savino - alles hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung und nach Arezzo, Cortona, den Trasimenischen See etc. etc. Manuela Bonari hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns viele Empfehlungen für Sehenswertes und Schmackhaftes in der Nähe gegeben. Sie war auf unkomplizierte Art immer hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
