Nach unserem ersten Schreckmoment verbarg sich hinter altem Gemäuer ein süßes, rustikales Apartment. Wir wurden freundlich italienisch plappernd von der Bewohnerin des Untergeschosses empfangen. Die Unterkunft besteht aus einem großen Raum mit Duschbad. Das einzig wirklich verbesserungswürdige wär in meinen Augen das Bett bzw. die Matratze. Sie ist doch arg laut, wenn sich jemand umdreht im Schlaf. Der Weg vom öffentlichen Parkplatz hoch zum Apartment ist beschwerlich, wird jedoch sofort durch den bombastischen Blick von oben auf die Landschaft entlohnt. Im Ort befinden sich 3 Lokale/Bistro/Restaurant. Wir haben sehr gut und preiswert gegessen. Es gab mehrere musikalische Veranstaltungen, die uns bei der Größe des Ortes (1500 Einwohner ca.) sehr positiv überraschten. Man kann in 20 min am Strand von Cecina baden, oder in 60 min Siena Sightseeing machen. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und werden definitiv wieder kommen.
