Country home with idyllic private pool set in beautifully landscaped gardens

Casa Pero is an elegant and welcoming country home, thoughtfully furnished to accommodate up to six guests in comfort.

On the ground floor, a well-equipped kitchen leads into a spacious yet inviting sitting room, complete with comfortable sofas and armchairs, bookcases and a traditional open fireplace. A convenient shower room with WC is also located on this level.

An external stone staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find three generously sized bedrooms—two doubles and one twin—along with a well-appointed family bathroom.

Outside, an expansive illuminated terrace provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining and relaxed summer evenings. Steps lead down to the private 10 × 6-metre swimming pool, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens filled with lavender, roses and colourful perennial planting. Casa Pero’s beautifully landscaped gardens are made for slowing down—find a peaceful corner, lose yourself in a good book, or simply relax with a chilled glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz.

Despite Casa Pero’s peaceful rural setting, excellent food and wine are never far away. The surrounding towns and villages are home to a wonderful selection of restaurants, traditional trattorias and pizzerias, where guests can discover the authentic flavours of Le Marche. Local favourites include Farfense in Santa Vittoria, Le Logge in Smerillo and Mamma Rosa in Ortezzano.

For everyday essentials, the beautiful historic hill town of Santa Vittoria in Matenano is approximately five minutes away by car. Here, guests will find two small grocery shops and an excellent café and bakery—perfect for a relaxed Italian breakfast.

Servigliano is around a 15-minute drive from Casa Pero and offers a larger supermarket, bakery and a charming central piazza. We particularly enjoy starting the day there with freshly made coffee and pastries at one of the bars overlooking the square.

Casa Pero enjoys an enviable position between the Adriatic coast and the spectacular Sibillini Mountains National Park, offering guests the opportunity to experience two very different sides of Le Marche.

The Sibillini Mountains are a landscape of wildflower meadows, crystal-clear streams, limestone gorges and cascading waterfalls. The area is ideal for walking, mountain biking and winter sports, as well as leisurely days spent discovering its unspoilt natural beauty. Highlights include the magnificent Piano Grande, once a glacial lake and now renowned for its breathtaking seasonal wildflowers, and the dramatic Gola dell’Infernaccio—one of the region’s most memorable walking destinations.

In the opposite direction, the Adriatic coast offers miles of sandy beaches and wonderfully warm water throughout the summer. Lively seaside towns such as Porto San Giorgio and San Benedetto del Tronto are perfect for a classic day by the sea, with San Benedetto particularly known for its elegant, palm-lined promenade. For a more intimate coastal experience, the beautiful coves and beaches of Sirolo and Portonovo lie beneath the dramatic cliffs of Monte Conero.

Golfers can visit Conero Golf Club, situated south of Ancona and approximately one hour from Casa Pero. Club hire is available, and the course offers an attractive setting close to the Conero coastline.
