The village of Montefrío is one of the so-called Pueblos Blancos, the famous Andalusian villages with white-painted houses. A church and the ruins of a Moorish castle perch on a rock above the village and are well worth a visit. Stroll through the old streets, stop at one of the local restaurants and experience the atmosphere of this historic place. Outside the town, visit an archaeological site and take part in the village's various festivals and events.
