Great hotel! Not far from the airport and downtown Montego Bay. The staff were awesome! The rooms were big and clean, and they have a lot of restaurants on site to choose from each night.

Great service. Most a la carte dinners were wonderful. Entertainment staff was not great. Limited activities on the adult side. Loud rap music played at the pool throughout the afternoon. Seemed like many locals as guests and they knew the staff well. Drinks were okay but hit or miss. Beautiful grounds. Buildings need some TLC. Loved the fire pits in the evenings.

I would no longer consider this property a five star hotel. I had the opportunity to visit this property in 2017 and everything about it felt luxurious. I couldn’t tell enough people about it so they could check it out. I just returned from a four night stay I was so excited about, and needless to say, the Zilara Rosehall did not resemble what I visited 8 years ago. I noticed the average conditions mostly in the rooms/suites. This is important to me because I spend an ample amount of time utilizing my living space. The rooms just seemed dull and were showing their age in the bathrooms and floors. Lots of brown spots and worn looking areas. I also noticed the hallway walls and carpets look extremely worn and dirty in lots of areas. While I wasn’t impressed at all with the living quarters, the dining options and food was delicious. The grounds were well kept, and most staff was very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was nice, but nothing like I experienced before. Overall, it was just a disappointing feeling to show up to a place I had such high hopes for. That being said, I do believe a serious update needs to happen especially for the prices they charge and the fact this is supposed to be a five star resort. Until then, I will not recommend this place to others like I did in the past. I would suggest checking out some other options in the area.

Absolutely loved this resort. I have been to Jamaica three times and this by far was the best resort I have been to. The food is fantastic and so many options I didn’t even have to eat at the buffet, the selection of food was amazing. I think there is something for everyone. The gym is also amazing with so many options on classes. I did make my own tie dye shirt which was fun although me and my partner where the only ones that did it but highly suggest it just bring a white shirt. I will be back soon. Not a party place but they do have parties and music was good.

First time in Jamaica and it was a wonderful experience! Hyatt Zilara did not disappoint! Everyone was so nice, friendly, and attentive. We had the swim up room which we loved! Buffet and restaurants were amazing! My boyfriend and I loved the veggie burritos that they had one morning and loved the jerk chicken bruschetta that they served one night at Jamaican roots! We will definitely be coming back!
