The room was old and did not have any serious amenities. The bathroom was moldy. The water did not come out properly and it was very shabby. The hotel is seriously out of date and the staff were very shoddy in dealing with any problems. I stayed six days, but would have left after the first day if I could’ve been assured of a refund for my stay. I would not recommend at this hotel.

Muy mala experienvia en el Krystal Monterrey. No servia el aire acondicionado en la habitacion. Orbitz por favor saquen de su site que dice q tiene alberca… no la tiene y hacen mas de 5 años q no tiene. La convirtieron en espacio para conferencias. Las personas q alli trabajan la mayoria son demaciado serias. No son amables… aparte de los del desayuno y uno de los maleteros. El cuarto dejo mucho q pensar. Las llaves del agua son viejas y tiran agua por todos lados… el hotel tiene mas de 30 años y asi mismo las toallas tienen el mismo tiempo. Todas deshiladas y viejas. La realidad q le doy 3/10. La ubicacion no es mala pero esta miy feo al salir por el lado del restaurante… todo sucio y apesta mucho. Una de las noches la temperatura subio a 82F q don 28C y nonpodiamos dormir… el aire lo controlan en el hotel pues ni modo tubimos que hecharnos agua por encima fria por poder descansar un poco. La verdad me arrepiento de haberme quedado aqui. Sorry!

The property has great and attentive staff; they even surprised us with dessert after we told them I was celebrating my anniversary. It is conveniently located near the Musuems, Paseo Santa Lucia, Barrio Antiguo, Mercado Juárez, and it’s an easy pick up point for any uber or excursion. It’s about a 10-15 minute ride to San Pedro Garza/Fashion Drive Mall and pretty convenient to the soccer stadiums.

I highly recommend this hotel the staff was very friendly. Our room had a excellent view of the city and very clean. The only thing I did not enjoyed was the parking i mean, you have to pay 160 for parking valet and you got to show a receipt to be able to go to your vehicle. I know they do it for security purposes but other than that my family enjoyed it here.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. There were no negatives about this second time around experience. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It truly is a three and a half star rated hotel. And to top everything off the rate was only 64 dollars for a night. If you are looking for a room for a night or two in grand old Monterrey, this hotel is worhty of your attention.

Hotel needs to be refurbished and showing its age. Hotel TV should add English news channels such as Fox new and Fax Business. Food selections in the menu should be revamped however the buffet selections are great.

Great hotel in the heart of Monterrey

The location is perfect - right beside the Macroplaza and just off the main pedestrian shopping area. The room was large and comfortable. Wifi worked great. Big bar and restaurant off the lobby. The area was a ghost town at night, but there are convenience stores and a few close restaurants. I had issues with my key card a few times,no big deal though. Taxis right out front 24/7. Definitely check out the riverwalk when you're here - one of the nicest tourist attractions in all of Mexico.
