Immaculate chateau, and welcoming owner. Breakfast was magnificent. Our bedroom was awkward with bathroom (tub/shower and sink) at one side and toilet at another, but room was nicely appointed, as were various common areas and dining room. Owner was helpful with restaurant choices.

Beautiful but…..
The hotel itself is like a museum, but the smell of cigarettes or cigar is super strong. I does damage the property. I could not breathe well inside, we had to run to do everything and spend, most of the time, outdoors. The surrounding are gorgeous and the greeting person is nice. Wish the wouldn’t smoke inside, It would have been perfect!!

Never use Hotels.com again
I booked this property and received confirmation mail. On the day of check-in I called the property to let them know more precisely our arrival time, but they told me they have no room for my family. This news I got without any prior communication from Hotels.com… I contacted Hotels.com, agent could not reach property and said will look for alternative. Never called back… I had to find urgently new place myself as it was already late into evening. What a service! Never use Hotels.com again
