It's recommended you book early, as there are very few hotel options within an easy drive of Montouto.

Montouto may not be renowned as being the hotel capital of Tras-os-Montes, however the Casa da Fonte de Travanca is close enough to the CBD to please most travellers.

The Quinta Dos Castanheiros is 25 kilometres from the main part of Montouto. Alternatively, the ibis Braganca is positioned 25 kilometres away. Another possibility is to check out the amenities and rates at the Hotel São Lázaro or the Hotel Classis.

After you have spent time in Montouto, take the time to discover the other great attractions Norte has to offer. Explore the ruins, castles and old towns in Norte, and admire the region's lovely beaches, coastal plains and forests. Popular activities in this part of Portugal include mountain biking.
