Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a great bonus and came with many different options. I wish the hotel was restored to a better quality of craftsmanship that it deserves. I also wish there was a map of the hotel especially where there were so many layers, I was unsure of where the amenities were located.

Very old When I checked in - my room had no heating - they got a small heater, then offered another room that was much worse, then the key entry didn't work in the first room finally after 1.5 hour of moving - gave me a better room that they said was not available originally. I asked for a refund/discount and they gave me nothing. Terrible

Bucklist Trip

Huge room, but I paid extra. They kept the room clean for our 5 night stay. Clean towels daily and bed was made everyday. Continental breakfast daily, but basic. Nespresso machine in room was a perk, fridge, but microwave. Comfortable bed with a couch and chairs made the room feel warm and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Overall a good stay and conveniently located if you don't mind walking.

If you have issues with mobility, back, knees etc this is not the property to stay at. No elevators, and lots of steps going into the property and inside hotel to floors. Moving luggage was a hassle. The night shift male employee was very friendly, but communication with day shift was not the best. They should at least have an ice machine per each floor (definitely doable).

It served as it was intended to.

The location is very good in terms of public transport is concern. Parking spot and parking fees are terrible so, I would not recommend this if you have a car. The room was too old, uneven floor, the door in the washroom doesn't close properly. The breakfast was just fine, not many options available, if you are a heavy breakfast eater, it is not for you. There's one thing I was furious about, the "do not clean room sign". I put up the sign at our door before we went outside for we don't want someone to enter our room to clean it for we had our things set up inside our room, but when we came back, our room was fixed, someone just entered our room and cleaned and replenish stuff. I mean it was nice, but what's the point of putting up the no clean up sign if they just ignored it. And the clothes that I put on top of the bed was not there anymore, I found it on the floor. I just hope they put it back where they found it after fixing the bed. But overall, it served it purpose which is to have a room to sleep on at night.

Room was nice and quiet for such a busy part of the city. Breakfast buffet is average at best. In room coffee machine is more of a expresso pod machine with little cups. Limited on site parking, but there is a decent paid lot just up the street.
