For a five star hotel, I was expecting a level that compares to Fairmont or Pullman Paris amenities. Door men and bellboys are exceptional. Front desk not so much, the only thing that look good are the lobby, restaurant, and the Maison Birks shop.

A luxurious weekend.

Birks hotel lives up to its reputation of opulence. Great customer service from the initial valet, bell service, all the way to the front desk. The room was spectacularly clean, the coffee and water well stocked and the view unprecedented. Even the turn down service was expceptional. If you want opulent luxury, stay here. Anything else is not up to par.
