Absolutely unique with the artwork all over. Pleasant area to have the included continental breakfast. However as a height challenged senior, it felt somewhat precarious to climb over the relatively high rim of the bathtub onto the slick surface, no handrails. Great location, within easy walking distance of many fine restaurants.

My adult daughter and I booked here last weekend for 3 nights. We checked in and checked out 5 hrs later. The photos online are deceptive - the place is tired looking and chaotic. The elevator floor is old 80's carpet which needed a vacuum/ replacement. Room was fine - bathroom WAS clean. The bar area on a Sat at 5pm: daughter's wine glass had lipstick on the rim. Asked for a new one and the bartender obliged after looking at 8 others up to the light until finding one clean one. The other dirty ones put back for the next customer. Bar has 2 oz of gin for my martini. No more in stock. No more gin? Really? Floor of bar area needed vacuuming. Music was bad club stuff and too loud. This place wants to be hip but it is just 3rd rate March Break vibes. Also - the "art" are a hodgepodge of framed prints which make no sense together but are labelled "L'Hotel Collection". LOL. Only plus - front desk person Lola appeared genuinely interested in our complaints. The place needs a complete overhaul.

What a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! The staff is warm, friendly and super helpful. Our room was classic and cozy with beautiful tall windows. All the eclectic art and furniture put a smile on my face every time I walked through the hallways! I would definitely come back and stay here again.

I LOVED this hotel. The staff were all kind and accommodating. It is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Best of all, it is filled with incredible modern art. Can’t wait to go back!

This was a fantastic boutique hotel with friendly, helpful staff that were always available. The pop art decor with the high ceilings, original bank elements, historic woodwork & modern accents were blended perfectly to create a wonderful cohesion of history and modern chic. A perfect match for the city of Montreal. Breakfast croissants were fresh & we loved the offerings of Latte/Cappuccino instead of just regular coffee. Short walk to public transit, dining & shops. Would definitely book again!

Be prepared: not all rooms are the same. There is a huge discrepancy between them, Some are excellent, some are quite poor. If you have chance to see thee realm in advance it would be fantastic. Otherwise you may have quite a surprise

Great location great room

Our check in went smoothly and our room on the ground floor surprised us with its high ceilings and spaciousness. Although the bathroom was tiny, everything worked and it was clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable and our room was very quiet. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. All of our staff interactions were very pleasant.
