This hotel lives up to the highest expectations, every single time. Two quick suggestions for the optics: - relocate stored luggage away from the front desk; when you have a lot there, it looks like a bazaar - the very first thing once sees for the hotel is the red carpet on the staircase. Loved the hotel for the history and location. Staffs were super friendly and the concierge had highly insightful recommendations to make your trip more memorable. The controls for the lights, the shades and the toilet, were unnecessarily complicated and nobody walked us through how to manage it. The ambience of the lobby and the rooms was not great, but the attached mansion was gorgeous. However, drinks were extraordinarily expensive at the bar and they should have offered a discount to people staying at the hotel, in my opinion.

The hotel staff especially William the concierge and the front office led by Alexandre were friendly and excellent - all our requests were accommodated. We enjoyed the food at George's and the atmosphere at the bar was dynamic (especially David who put a lot of energy into every drink he made). We look forward to another visit soon.
