I stayed here for 10 days on a work trip. This 1-star review is due to the COCKROACHES in my room for the final 4 nights of my stay and how the hotel handled it.
Instead of posting a review, I informed the hotel on checkout that I'd been killing cockroaches for the last 4 nights so they could deal with it and make good on the experience. I wasn't ready to switch rooms because of how much I would have had to repack and move due to my work, and if one room had them, others would as well.
I was told I would get at least 2k IHG rewards at first and received an apology from the clerk. Later in the day I got a call letting me know I would get 5k IHG rewards. This sounded great. It wasn't until later when I checked what points were worth (can't post the actual number, but it's a fraction of a cent) that I realized they offered me 0.003% of the value of my stay for living with cockroaches crawling along my walls and floors for the last few days.
I tried calling the hotel after getting home to bring this up but never got an answer and their mailbox was full. I brought this to Expedia, provided them with both photos and videos of the cockroaches in the room, and they initiated a ticket to work with the hotel on a resolution but even Expedia never got a response from them after 4 days.
I reached out to IHG guest services and they told me it was not their responsibility and offered me a a few (literally) bucks in extra points.
