We had a lovely stay at Lillian’s house. The location was perfect and the grounds were stunning. Very peaceful, but just a few minutes walk from restaurants, two shops and the beach. The pool was lovely for a morning dip. The mist fan in the outdoor dining area was brilliant at keeping the mosquitoes away.We’d love to return and continue exploring Montenegro. Highly recommend the cable car at Kotor and a boat trip with Peter.

Great Property

All good. The villa is great and the pool is very nice. The garden is well kept, but because of the number of plants and pond it does attract mosquitoes later in the day. Overall though I would recommend.

Fantastic villa, amazing gardens

We loved the pool and outdoor spaces and the villa was an ideal size for four adults and an infant. The place was cleaned brilliantly, Lilian was super-helpful and we loved our stay. Can’t recommend highly enough

Charming villa

We enjoyed this charming villa. It’s well kept garden provides great privacy. The pool is great! It was hard to decide most days on pool or the beach. Once you arrive, you won't need a car. Store, 3 great restaurants and the public beach are all a walking distance. In the evening you can take 30 min drive to Kotor or Herceg Novi, for site seeing. Great place fir a vacation. You wont regret it.

Perfect little villa for a quiet getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. Lillian was very helpful during out stay. Nothing was too much trouble. There are places to eat within walking distance and even more just a short drive away. The grocery store at the end of the road stocks all of the essentials even if it is slightly more expensive than the bigger supermarkets in some of the nearby villages. The location of the villa provides easy access to the main road so getting out to see the amazing scenery in Montenegro was no problem at all. Without having to contend with the heavier traffic around the cities. All in all we had a fantastic time and would really recommend this perfect little villa.

What a beautiful place!

The villa totally lived up to the description and the reviews, and the surroundings and views surpassed all expectations. Lillian was incredibly kind and helpful as a host - we are used to staying in houses or villas where you’re absolutely left to your own devices, so having Lillian next door, or in the garden keeping an eye on the plants every morning meant we could tap in to her knowledge of the area and what to do/where to go! Hiring a car for 2 days was great, and again, Lillian was really helpful in organising this and arranging the drop off and collection - and it was such a treat to be met at the airport and not have to sort out car hire or directions after an early start (and in 34 degree heat)! If you do go without car hire, I would recommend getting a car for at least a day to get to bigger (cheaper) supermarkets where you’ll get fresh meat etc, and to do some driving around the bay to see other towns and stunning views! Despite acquiring a gazillion mosquito bites while there, the pool and villa were lovely to spend time in. The pool was great for my 7 year old, the absolute perfect temperature in the August sunshine - you do need to be a confident swimmer with there being no shallow end - but he loved jumping off the board and it’s a good size for a family of 3/4. Tramontana bar across the main road has good food at good prices, and the beach (including the really low cost loungers and umbrellas) at Morinj is fab - as was paddle boarding in the bay: what a lovely memory that is for us all. We’ve left the number for a contact to hire boards from Morinj in the visitors’ book. All in all, we loved our trip both to Montenegro and the villa - as someone else said in their review, the only reason we might not be back is because there’s so much of the world still to see. But if we are ever in Montenegro again, we’d stay here in an instant.

Paradise!

The Villa was so charming and the location absolutely perfect. But the gardens were spectacular and so heavenly to have the pool! Lillian was a superb host. We were so lucky to stay there!!!!

A great holidat

The property is in a fantastic location. We decided. It to hire a care. It was way to get around using public transport. Perast, Risan and Kotor as easy to get to and worth visiting. Morinj is small with a beach and lovely local restaurants. The villa is superbly located. The pool was great, WiFi works well and the villa is spotless. Would highly recommend. The new annex was great meaning that two couples can comfortably stay here.

Tranquil and beautiful

Three of us had a lovely time staying at the villa. The garden is absolutely stunning, the scent of jasmine was incredible and having the pool to cool down in was fantastic. Be aware the pool is deep with no shallow end but it’s big and sparkling clean. The house was clean and well equipped, washing machine in the garage we could use and decent kitchen. BBQ was used a few times and an outdoor fridge for drinks by the pool which was handy! Owner was very helpful and Answered all our questions. Parking is easy too and the location is fantastic - 2 mins from the beach, two good restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect spot away from the cruise ship crowds at Kotor and well located for day trips. We would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay in Bay of Kotor

We received a very friendly welcome by Lillian and she was always available when we needed her. The house was very clean, with a cosy living room area and comfy bed. There was also a nice outdoor seating area with BBQ. The garden and pool areas were impeccable - great spaces to relax in. We stayed with our 9 month old - high chair and cot were provided, which was really useful. The location of the house is superb, with shop, restaurants, and beach in close walking distance. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful villa, homely and full of charachter

We had a wonderful week in this lovely house, full of charachter and had everything we needed. Close to a lovely beach restaurant and shop. Fabulous pool and garden, and great base to explore the surrouding area from. Thank you for looking after us so well. Highly recommended.

Lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden is beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the pool and diving board. Inside everything was super clean and really well maintained. The place looks nicer and bigger in reality than in the pictures. Lillian greeted us upon our arrival and was very friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience and will definitely rent again when back in Montenegro.

Der Check-in verlief völlig problemlos und wir wurden herzlich von Lillian empfangen, die uns das Haus uns den sehr schönen Garten gezeigt hat. Die Villa ist umfassend ausgestattet und mit Liebe dekoriert. Es fehlt an nichts. Auch der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein - entweder im überdachten Bereich oder am Pool.Aufgrund der Jahreszeit konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen, allerdings den beheizten Whirlpool. Das war sowohl tagsüber, aber besonders in der Dunkelheit reizvoll.Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Fußläufig sind ein Lebensmittelladen, die Post, ein gutes Restaurant und der Strand erreichbar. Für alles andere haben wir einen Mietwagen genutzt.

Alles an der Unterkunft war wunderbar! Wunderschöner, gepflegter Garten mit Pool und Jacuzzi mit täglicher, diskreter Reinigung des Outdoorbereichs. Geräumige Grillecke mit kühlem Aussensitzplatz. Wohnliche Zimmer und gut ausgestattete Küche. Checkin reibungslos und sehr freundliche Besitzerin, die nebenan wohnt. Restaurants und ein kleiner Laden in Gehdistanz. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, war ein toller Aufenthalt.

Havre de paix dans la baie de Kotor

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison et son magnifique jardin. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Lillian, avec de nombreuses petites attentions à l'arrivée. La maison est extrêmement propre et bien équipée. Le jardin, la piscine et le jaccuzi ont fait de ce séjour un moment inoubliable !

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Alles war perfekt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und die Ausstattung ist super. Der Garten und der Pool sind noch schöner als die Bilder es vermuten lassen. Die Vermieterin war immer hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wiederkommen.
