Communication with hosts and manager was excellent and prompt.The property is at 2000feet so it is 2C cooler than in the valley so we found it was cool to sit out in the evenings on several nights even though it had been a hot day.The property is quirky with rooms built on all 4 sides of a central bedroom and an outside door from the kitchen leading straight into the bathroom and another outside door from the bathroom into the second bedroom. Could make it awkward for 2 couples!!Kitchen well appointed and modern. (although no dishwasher) Lots of outdoor space and garden to walk in but unfortunately the trees have grown up since the photos were taken so the views of the valley and over to Etna are impeded. The pool has been revamped and a shade shelter built on the pool terrace too so that area looks better than the photos.(although paint flaking off bottom of the pool). Pool cool but nice to dip into. Very quiet area, no other buildings nearby so great for peaceful stay. We found cows eating the wisteria at the side of the front terrace one morning, they were our neighbours. Walks on the road up the hill very pleasant especially first thing.
