We had 2 stays here last month while visiting family in the area. Both nice stays. Comfortable beds. The staff if wonderful! The lady that takes care of the breakfast, I think her name is Allison, kept the breakfast area clean and stocked. Front desk ladies were very helpful. Charles handled our late check in efficiently and was very pleasant.

First off the deadbolt wouldn't engage! And the upper lock was bent so it wasn't really protecting the door from being opened. They did send maintenence to help with the bolt, but part of the metal on the frame was actually cracked and separated. He did get it to finally lock, but honeslty I'm not sure it would have kept someone out if they really wanted in. We asked for a different room, but there were none. Had it not been early evening I would have asked for a refund and sought lodging elsewhere. Then as we tried to sleep we could hear a woman in the room next room talking since the rooms had an adjoining door. Later we could here a man yelling above us, plus someone running around the room above. Took us several hours to get to sleep because of all the noise. I know the hotel can't control guests, but the insulation is clearly lacking if we could hear so much! Would NOT recommend staying there!

The room and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows and sheets were nice and comfy as well. TV had cable with a lot of channels, including HBO. The coffeemaker in the room is single cup brew. There's also a minifridge and microwave which my mom appreciated. Those are the positives. The negatives are that although the hotel is non-smoking, stale cigarette smoke permeates the rooms. Also, the check-in building (also where breakfast is set up) is separate from the building where your room is located. This means that you must exit the building where your hotel room is located. Walkor drive to the check-in building in the front for breakfast. If you're young and/or have a car - not a big deal. It's a strange set up, more like a motel, but would be okay for most guests. However, if you're elderly and have mobility issues (like my mother) it's problematic. Especially in poor weather. The other positive was the housekeepertending to the 3rd floor was awesome. I regrettably forgot to get her name. She was very attentive. The clerk at check-in was very nice too.
