beautiful, peaceful lakefront retreat designed especially for couples or two guests.
This charming 1-bedroom, 2 bath cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on a beautiful cove of Lake Hamilton, sitting on approximately 1/2 acre with plenty of privacy outdoors.
Inside you'll find comfortable leather furnishings, beautiful cedar tongue-and groove walls and a vaulted ceiling that gives the living area a warm, spacious cabin feel.
The front bathroom features a large Jacuzzi soaking tub, perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake or exploring the area. The private master bathroom includes a double vanity and shower.
The cottage also features a extra large kitchen with a spacious island and stainless -steel appliances, making it easy to prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a romantic dinner.
There is also a bonus sunroom that makes a wonderful spot for an early morning cup of coffee, reading a book or enjoying a quite evening overlooking the lake. (best used in early mornings or late evenings).

OUTDOOR LIVING
The outdoor spaces are where the cottage really shines. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks on the large, covered porch, relax in the outdoor seating area, or gather around the gazebo and enjoy the outdoor kitchen bar area with gas grill.

The cottage sits directly on a beautiful cove with a boardwalk and swim dock. Bring your boat, floats and water toys- there is plenty of boat parking along the boardwalk, and guest can tie up their personal watercraft and leave it in the water overnight. We also offer Kayaks for rent if interested please send over an inquiry.

For fishing enthusiast, the cove is known for excellent fishing and guest have caught record size fish right outside of the cottage and just around the corner on the main channel.
Whether you want to spend the day on the water, hike through the Ouachita Mountains, explore Hot Springs or simply sit on the porch and watch boats and the sunset, this is the perfect place to slow down and the enjoy the beauty of Arkansas.

The cottage is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood on a dead-end road, while still being conveniently located near everything you want to do.

If you love getting outdoors, you'll have plenty to explore nearby. Lake Ouachita State Park is just a short drive away and offers several hiking opportunities. For those looking for a longer adventure, the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOVIT) follows the shoreline of Lake Ouachita National Forest, (just a few miles away).

NATURE AND WILDLIFE
Nature is everywhere around the Cozy Cottage. Birdwatching is wonderful here, and Bald Eagles are frequently spotted flying overhead. Guest also sees rabbits, turtles, beavers, otters, foxes and deer in the area.

Please note:
This is a non-smoking property. Smoking permitted outside only. No pets allowed. There are steps throughout the property, including steps to the deck, bedroom, dinning/kitchen area and master bath as well as an inclined path to the boardwalk and swim dock. (not handicap accessible)
Lake Hamilton has a annual water draw down form Nov-March. There is still some water in the cove but not boat accessible. The outdoor kitchen is winterized during this time however; the grill is still in service.

This property does NOT allow "Special Events"... No large gatherings. No shared events with other rentals. Only registered guest permitted to be on property at all times and only registered vehicles and trailers are allowed.
