Clean and modern design. Staff at reception were very professional and helpful. However, I feel that it will be nice if housekeeping staff are a bit more generous with coffee, creamer & sugar sachets when they are topping up the room. There are 2 of us, but only 2 sachets were given each day. And if we want extra, we will have to go to the reception to get the extra ourselves, as there is no phone in the hotel room. I guess, we are used to hotels in other countries that have housekeeper staff to deliver coffee, towel, etc to the hotel room at any time of the day (of course within reasonable hours, ie before 10pm), rather than having the guests to pick them up at the reception themselves. Maybe that is having guests picking up extra stuff at the reception themselves is a the normal practice in Germany.

Rude staff members
Hotel staff were rude and dismissive when I found out that I had made two reservations after calling Gambino prior to my stay and them telling me I did not have a reservation with them. So in turn I made another reservation at Gambino and staff claimed that I could not get a refund for my second reservation because it wasn’t their problem. They were not willing to try their best to solve the issue but instead dismissed me and told me to call the booking agencies I used. Would not recommend Gambino just because of their failure to be professional and customer oriented.

The 2 coffee shops/cafes are great spots to grab coffee. WiFi is free in public spaces. A vending machine, tour/ticket assistance, and a garden are also featured at Gambino Hotel Cincinnati. For a fee, parking is available. This Munich hotel is smoke free.
