Our hotel room was clean and updated and staff were friendly. A nice bonus was the complimentary daily beer if you forgo daily a room cleaning. Our only complaint was the very small size of the bathroom. Space was tight and we are small people. Great place for a short stay overall.

The hotel was in a good location and walkable to the nearby Ostbahnhof station to easily access the city via train. The property wasn’t very responsive when the weather was warm and the fan/AC didn’t turn on in our room. The front desk said they didn’t have AC (which is contrary to the listing on Expedia/website). Overall the property was a good value for a no-frills option. We did appreciate the 10 percent breakfast at the nearby Amal Cafe.

The property was conveniently located near the train station to make getting around easy. The property was newer and up to date with nice amenities. No a/c or ceiling fans in the room so it was a bit uncomfortable sleeping at night. Check in and check out was easy and they allowed for an early check in for an additional fee.

Dangerous water temp in shower

The hotel was overall fairly nice, but the shower was a nightmare. There was very little room for adjustment between ice cold and scalding hot. When you did get a comfortable temperature it would randomly jump to scalding hot for 5-15 seconds without warning (140+ degrees F). I'm presuming they skipped out on temperature balancing valves on the hotel plumbing, and when other units use their water it affects your water temperature.
