The room was comfortable and clean, the location is very convenient as it is within a 5min walk of the Munich Central Station. Breakfast options were very nice and wouldn't mind staying there again for another solo trip.

Extremely well-located in respect of the central train station and also has a 24/7 reception which is excellent. Due to the location, it is a bit noisy but it’s manageable with earplugs. The room temperature can get quite warm but they do provide you with a fan to mitigate.

For what you pay in a City the hotel is just fine. The hotel is just down the road from transit, there is a laundromat down the road as well. The bed was 2 singles pushed together, a flat pillow, which I like, a portable fan (which I wish more hotels had). We never had the breakfast, too many other options available outside hotel. No coffee machine in room or kettle but a kettle could be available for a deposit. The area feels a bit dodgy but I never felt unsafe and we used transit all the time. The room had lots of space on one side and cramped on the other side of bed when set up as a queen sized bed. The second stay the room had 3 separate single beds and room was cramped but layed out better than first room. Bathroom is small. There is an elevator. We stayed in the hotel 2 separate times because of convenienve to the train and transit. The hotel staff was super friendly, Robert and Mohammad were great guys as well as the one other guy I didn't get his name. I would recommend staying here for the price.

The hotel is unique in a very good way, named accordingly as there are faces of King Ludwig all over the place in the hallway and restaurant. When we arrived the evening receptionist was very kind, spoke great english and he was dressed very suave. He is also involved in the restaurant as well, which the restaurant wasnt yet busy when we arrived so service was quite quick and we had our room number and key right away. The key could weigh you down while doing a lot of walking. Lol. The most interesting key set up, uou shouldnt have trouble finding it. There is no elevator. We had our room just on the second floor so it wasnt too bad and we were backpacking so no heavy luggage to take up flights of stairs. The room is not modern, there's a crystal chandelier and wall sconces and the bed was a good size in a small room. Definitely tight trying to move around. The bathroom is small also, the shower is super small but lots of hot water. We were there in February so a hot shower was a must. The restaurant was good, the staff was prompt, friendly, funny, easy to get along with and had an english written menu. The breakfast buffet was one of the cheapest priced per person buffet and had the best food of all the hotels we stayed in while in Europe. It was great. I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel except it wouldn't be good for people with mobility issues. The room and bathroom are small and only News on TV in english.
