My wife and I stayed for one night (deluxe room) at the Marriott. The room was very clean, modern and a perfect size for one night. I also appreciated the underground parking (€15/day). The hotel personnel were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The breakfast was also excellent, with many choices made from fresh ingredients. The hotel is just a short drive from the airport. Check-in was incredibly slow (15 minutes with two people in line), the restaurant (Stubn) was horrible and the service bad, and the fitness center has 1970s-era equipment (and not much of it - one treadmill, one cycle, one elliptical for a huge hotel) that probably hasn't been maintained since purchase. This is an expensive hotel, so all of these things should be at least servicable quality. Avoid the Munich Airport Marriott at all costs.
