We had a lovely stay at the Charles hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade on our arrival - a very rare event these days! The breakfast was amazing, with kind, thoughtful and very attentive staff. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Munich was amazing with incredible Christmas markets - so much to do and see.

Our stay at the Charles Hotel in Munich was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had! We were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast in the Florio restaurant—really enjoyed the pretzels on offer in the buffet spread! Each member of the staff we encountered made sure that we were well taken care of as well, and they were all super friendly. Highly recommend this property for any stay in Munich!

Staff, beautiful room, pool, great location. On the Saturday we requested the room to be cleaned when leaving around 1pm. Arrived almost 4 hours later and room had not been cleaned, had to request it again with tighter deadline as we needed to shower and go out for the evening. No water bottles were left in the room on the Saturday either, these had ti be requested.

Very warm and friendly staff! Amazing location facing the gardens. The rooms are cozy, and very comfortable! The restaurant at the hotel is beautiful as well!
