City break in beautiful Münster

Great location within walking distance to Old Town and most landmarks. The building and the interior need some refreshment, but the room was clean, equipped with all the necessary things. The shower too small for my big husband, but they both survived😃. Great breakfast and extremely nice and helpful service make Windthorst Hotel a place worth coming back!

Gute Lage, um mit der Bahn anzureisen und die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Trotz der belebten Umgebung war es im Zimmer ruhig. Der Raum war zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Einrichtung enthielt aber viele Annehmlichkeiten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne beim nächsten Mal wieder.

Bettlaken war etwas dreckig. Fußboden - Teppich, hat einige Flecken. Badezimmer ziemlich alt, Duscheinstieg locker 30cm. Es war sehr laut im Zimmer, die Nachbarn werden gehört, Fahrstuhl macht ein Krach - hört man auch im Zimmer. Rezeption in der 4 Etage, komisch und nicht durchgehend besetzt. Keine Info, wohin mit dem Schlüssel nach Check-Out. Alles sehr merkwürdig. Es gibt eine Handynummer - die geht nicht ans Telefon, ruft auch nicht zurück. Seeeeehr kurioses Hotel.

Zimmer nicht sehr neu, aber insgesamt in Ordnung. Bei der Zahlung erhebt allerdings das Kartenlesegerät eine zusätzliche Gebühr auf nicht EU- oder Firmen-Kreditkarten. Auf Nachfrage gab es nur ein 'Naja, daran kann ich jetzt auch nichts machen'.

Die Rezeption des Hotels ist im vierten Stock in einem etwas muffigen, alten Raum. Das Zimmer war etwas moderner, geräumig, hatte Schränke und ein großes Bad mit Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Dusche hatte einen sehr hohen Einstieg. Es gab Gläser auf dem Zimmer, sowie einen Flaschenöffner. Auch gab es einen kleinen Ventilator. Leider war es sehr hellhörig. Es war unmöglich, die Fenster in der Nacht offen zu lassen, da die Straße, die Ampel und die Menschen unglaublich laut waren. Auch der Flur des Hotels war zu gut zu hören, wenn sich Menschen etwas lauter unterhalten haben (trotz der doppeltür am Zimmer). Alles in allem ist die Lage sehr zentral, Rewe und der Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bäcker gegenüber. Preis Leistung gut. Nächstes Parkhaus 19,- pro Tag (5 min Fußweg).
