Eagles' Nest Getaway: Experience Life on the Little Missouri River

The Eagles' Nest Getaway is a private riverfront retreat nestled in the scenic hills of Southwestern Arkansas along the banks of the Little Missouri River.  It sleeps 10 people and has two and a half baths.  Great Trout Fishing.  The cabin is located a few miles from historic Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Crater of Diamonds State Park and Lake Greeson. This cabin is owned and operated by the Old Factory Getaway owners and received its name for the incredible view and occasional bald eagle sightings.

The property is lovely and the house sits overlooking the little Missouri river with steps that walk down to a deck that is directly on the river. The house was very clean and I love the way it was laid out with one big room and very comfy furniture. It has a big wraparound porch which I loved. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to going back someday.

The photos do not do this place justice. It is truly beautiful! We had a lovely two days there with everything we could need. The river is beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous. The house is clean and well stocked. Even the shower water pressure was great! It is close enough to town and the park to be convenient but far enough away we didn’t see anyone else. So relaxing!

This house was perfect for a blended family and plenty of room. They literally had everything we needed plus some. We left a few things there to add to their collection of items. Absolutely amazing place. Gorgeous. We saw deer and eagles. I’d love to spend a month there. They are very easy to communicate with as well. Apple Maps brought me directly to the house. My sister has Google and she had some issues at first. Very clean and well taken care of. A

Our stay at the getaway cabin was Amazing! We loved the secluded location and the dog was able to run around the back yard and have a good time. We went down by the river at the lookout area and watched the water rise after the rains from the north. It was a great location to go to the crater diamond state park, and up to Mt. Ida for quartz crystals! Thank you for sharing your place with us.
