Well. I didn't stay long enough to evaluate the property. I had stopped by a year prior to check out the new casino, and figured the hotel might be a nice play to stay while riding through North Carolina.
So I booked a night. We rode most of the day, arrived, and checked in. (feeling kinda like I shouldn't be there because I arrived on a motorcycle)
My girlfriend and I had been traveling and wanted a nice upscale hotel to stay and have a nice meal. Turns out there wasn't a restaurant at all. I was told "It might be open in a few days", and was told there was a "food court". . Getting back on the bike to scout for a nice restaurant was NOT in our plans. As unwelcome as I felt, I decided to check out, ride another 45 minutes, and stay elsewhere.
My dissatisfaction fell on deaf ears, as the two people at the desk didn't seem to care.
I had to eat the $$ for the room we never used, and it honestly seemed nobody cared if we stayed or left.
