We had a good stay despite rain the entire time we were there. The house worked well for our family. The living room furniture and a few other things were a little outdated but still worked fine. The kitchen was stocked basically but we still needed several other things so if you are big cookers, you might need a few more things. The bedrooms were all nice and beds were all comfortable. Easy check-in process but be ready for some steep stairs up to the unit. The only difficulty we had was the group on the other side of the unit was wide open and drunk the majority of the time they were there, but that was just an unlucky time for us to be there between them and the weather. Despite that, we would rent here again, especially with the location of the house.

Great, with minor issues
The property itself is in a FANTASTIC location! It is right next to the little downtown area of Garden City, and the Pier (which is our favorite), but best of all we could walk off the deck and be at the beach!! It was so amazing to have short walks, especially with a 3 and 1 year old in tow.
When we arrived an hour early, we were able to get into the house. There were some minor things not as clean as they should have been (bathrooms), and some portions of the property were not in top notch performing shape (dishwasher, sink/tub drains, rocking chairs).
After reaching out to the property manager about multiple rocking chairs being broken, we were told someone would be by to address the issue, and that never happened. That was very disappointing. Which led me not to report the other issues we were having because I knew they would not be addressed.
The limited supplies (both disposable and linens) provided, and having to make all the beds seemed a little ridiculous to me considering how much you pay for the property, and for the low quality of the products and linens (it can't be that much more to provide more than 1 trash bag).
We will definitely be coming back to Garden City and staying beach side, but after our experience I do not think it will be at this property.

Wedding week and stay at Garden City
Best part was the location and size of the house.
House needed cleaning. Floors were not clean. Kitchen needed large frying pan. The stove did not work. The oven took 45 minutes to heat up. Top eyes were ot working Light in kitchen was falling down.
I left a whole list of suggestions with the Garden City Realty along with keys to condo.
Our favorite part was the beach location and front porch.

Plumbing issues and lots of cosmetic issues
Had a plumbing leak that caused leak from second floor to first floor in kitchen. Maintenance was quick to come and the fixed the plumbing issue. Blinds in one bedroom were broken and door handle to sliding glass door was broken. Dish washer didn’t work properly. Lots of minor issues. Was really disappointed to not hear from the office after the plumbing issue to make sure we were satisfied. Not sure if we will rent from that rental company again.

Great view, however property not clean and misrepresented
The view and location of the house was great! Garden City Beach is a cute little town with friendly locals. We had plenty of room. The house was not clean and we spent 4 hours when we got there to get it clean enough for us to stay. The kitchen was extremely disorganized. All of the dishes and silverware had to be run through the dishwasher. We are very thankful that we brought our own linens, pillows, and blankets.

Will come back!
This property was as advertised. I had no issues with cleanliness, not having enough kitchen items, or any maintenance issues, etc. Other than Hurricane ISAIAS, we had a perfect time! Management kept us up to date with the weather, offered parking in another location in the event of flooding. (Depending on the vehicle, you easily fit 3 comfortably.)
We didn't stray much from our home due to covid but the location was great. Very short distance to walmart for groceries, and a tiny grocery store in walking distance if we forgot something. Theres an arcade for the kids, a place grab a bite to eat, you can rent a golf cart right around the corner. The pier is very close if you're interested in a taste of the nightlife. The back deck and having a beach in your backyard are the best parts! I would rent this property every year!!

Vacay
overall, ok. upstairs had not been swept [sand everywhere, even dresser drawers; glob of hair under bed]; broken rail on bunk bed; broken towel bar in bathroom; mattress pads stained; most mattresses stained; ants in kitchen and bedroom. housekeeping addressed most concerns
