Rustic Rural Retreat

Delightful ancient cottage charmingly arranged for modern life. We loved the peace and quiet and the fact that we had a private garden. Dominique Hugot was most welcoming and helpful.

Very charming cottage. The host was very friendly and very responsive. I would have rated 10/10 if not for the following: although the place was clean, it smelled very damp and was very humid; the internet was not suitable for heavy usage (although the host informed me on our departure day that the lines will be upgraded within the next few weeks); there are hidden fees not mentioned on the site for towels and sheets, along with extra fees for electricity usage.Apart from that, the location is fantastic and all the amenities were as described (except that there is actually no hot tub, I believe it's a listing mistake).If you're looking for a homebase to visit the surrounding Angers, and castles, etc. this is a great place!

Un petit coin de paradis

Great stay!

The listing is as described, lovely house in a small village. It is a very quiet place, perfect to enjoy and rest. I had to stay a bit longer than planned, I and was fortunate enough to be able to extend my reservation. Dominique, the owner, is very nice and has been very helpful all along the stay. I woud definitely recommend this place!

rien de négatif à dire sur cette location, l'espace y est très convenable, beaucoup de rangement, ainsi qu'un certain confort et un jardin très plaisant. Pour un séjour en couple ce gîte est très agréable, le calme, la proximité d'une grande ville comme Angers (15 minutes) , sur place à cinq minutes du gîte tous les commerces et autres commodités tout aussi appréciables.Les propriétaires attentifs à notre bien être et très sympathiques.
