Easy check-in/out process

We have stayed at the Bay View hotel before, but this was the first time we booked with Elliot via Vrbo. The process was fairly simple, albeit it was a little confusing at first. There were no hiccups with the property, and the only things we would have liked to see are a fan to improve air circulation, a broom to keep the room tidy, and coffee filters for the coffee pot!

Great location

Location was great right on the beach. Elevators were over crowded (but I guess that would be everywhere). The room could use an extra curtain panel or two, the window couldn’t be covered all the way and you were waken up by the early sunlight. Over all great place, great location at an affordable price.

Pros and Cons!

Our stay here was decent but I would not stay here again. Pros: Check-in was in and out. The office was very close to the property. The location of the hotel was great. It definitely was oceanfront and you could easily walk to a lot of places on the strip. The amenities was great. We spent a lot of our time in the indoor pools and lazy river and the outdoor pool and hot tub. Cons: The first day getting there trying to get our stuff upstairs to the room was hectic. There is a small drive up area where everyone go to check-in and take their things upstairs so you have to wait until you’re able to pull in. There are so many people staying there so you may have to wait for a cart to put your things on. There are a total of 4 elevators but there is 17 floors so it usually take a while to come and there’s usually always a lot of people waiting. Check-in is at 3 so I was expecting our room to be ready but it was not ready until 3:30. You have to drive a street over to get to the parking garage which is usually very full because they share with Hilton. I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room at all. First be aware the room is very very small. There was only 3 of us so we moved the beds closer so we could have walking room and we made it work. The floors was dirty with hair on it and a dead roach like the room wasn’t swept or mopped at all. The bathroom is actually a nice size but the tub was not clean well. There was hair in there as well.

Room and bed

Clean room and comfortable beds. Small room, but can’t complain. Only suggestion would be get higher beds so suitcases could go under them due to the limited space.
