Located directly in the heart of Myrtle Beach, Paradise Resort is close to all the downtown attractions and located right by the brand new downtown Boardwalk, where you will find lots of shops and amazing restaurants. you can enjoy the Family Kingdom Amusement Park with thrilling roller coasters, bumper cars, log flume and several other fun rides. Or spend the day at the Family Kingdom oceanfront waterpark. The downtown Skywheel is about two miles away from the resort where you can take a ride in one of their air conditioned gondolas and see Myrtle Beach as you have never seen before. And at dusk, the Skywheel begins its light show. With over 1 million LED lights, the display can be seen up and down the boardwalk. Also, within steps are Restaurants and open air bar, where you can try your hand at pier fishing or just enjoy the beautiful sights. Downtown Myrtle Beach is full of life and excitement with tons of shops, restaurants and attractions, all within walking distance of this resort.

This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is a spacious 1000 sq ft directly on the oceanfront Paradise Resort. For someone who loves the lower floor, this is an awesome condo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the ocean front amenities. The balcony is huge. Very inviting and entertaining outdoor space.
Enjoy beautiful East Coast Sunrises or watch the dolphin play from your large oceanfront balcony while having your morning coffee. The condo will sleep up to 8 people with a king in the large master suite with balcony access, and 2 queen beds in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper in the living room. Each bedroom is equipped luxury linens, lots of closet space and flat panel tvs. The large kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful granite countertops, stainless appliances and has everything you would need for those days when you want to just stay at the resort and dine in. You will also have your own private washer/dryer in the condo so that you can keep those beach towels and swimsuits dry and ready for use.

The resort is full of fun amenities to make your vacation a memorable one. Enjoy the day on our beautiful beach, lounge around the large oceanfront pool or float around in the winding lazy river. After a fun evening out, relax in the whirlpool while having an evening cocktail. If you want to keep up with your fitness routine or have to check in with work while on vacation, there is an onsite workout gym and free wifi throughout the resort.

Issues with the VRBO Managed Condo 1.The Micro Wave smoked, when used, so we didn’t know if it was safe.2.There was no smoke detector in the 2nd bedroom.3.There was no booklet for renters providing instructions on how to operate appliances, the air conditioner and TVs4.The shelving area under the cabinets was worn and unsightly (it should be repaired or replaced).5.A rusty pan was unusable and served on purpose other than to limit our options for appropriate pan size to cook certain foods6.TVs worked off and on and remotes either had no batteries or no battery covers.7.There was no ice maker or ice cube trays.8.There were crumbs on the floor and tables of the master bedroom upon our arrival.This condo was not ready for occupancy.

Came down for a dance comp. Nice property. The only problems were the sheets on the King size bed in the master were the wrong size. It is a 1st floor unit so it is a little loud earlier in the evening and in the morning when the pool opens.

Quick Getaway

The unit is in the most convenient place on the propertywhen arriving. You literally park your vehicle in the garage and 10 steps past the entry door is the unit. It was a very clean unit and well maintained. The unit was just one floor above the pool, and there was an excellent view from the balcony of the ocean. I have a young kindergartener that I travel to MB with 4-5 times a year with and I honestly don’t like sitting out on balconies with him because most oceanfront rooms in MB don’t have reasonable height for their railings but that was not the case for this unit. The balcony had tons of length and width and the railing system was very tall so it was so relaxing to sit outside with my child and enjoy the breeze and the view of the ocean and not worry about his safety. All the kitchen appliances were nice and up-to-date, the washer and dryer worked well , the unit’s hot water worked very well, and it was just an overall wonderful experience. Checking in and out was easier that it is to come home from work everyday, lol! The bedrooms and bathrooms had great space and storage. A family of six could easily stay here a week, be able to fellowship with each other, but not be on top of each other at the same time. The indoor pool area had a lazy river, 2 hot tubs, and a pool that was nice and lukewarm when it was 50 degrees outside. There was a nice size outdoor pool too.I look forward to booking another experience there sometime later in the year.

Just another beach condo!

Folks don’t let the “newly renovated “ fool you! The only renovated is the floor. This place needs a TOTAL Overhaul. Not enough silverware.. I found toenail clippings in the bedroom corner. Dust everywhere….. do yourself a favor. Spend a little more money and look elsewhere. Owner did offer to refund us the money we spent on cleaning products. Don’t spend your vacation money here. You will be disappointed

I'm officially a snowbird!

Retired in December, lounging at a beachfront property in January. It was absolutely delightful. Janet was very responsive to our inquiries, thoughtful in her responses, and jumped into problem solving mode immediately with a minor, minor issue. It was perfect for what my husband and I wanted, and I already miss watching the sunrise/sunset.

Wonderful stay

Excellent stay at Janet's condo. Everything was in great condition. The only downfall was that the Tiki Bar was being torn down for repair. The drinks/food was still available in the restaurant though. Can't beat the view!
