Right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Yachtsman Resort is an oceanfront treat that won't break the budget! You'll be in the heart of everything--restaurants, amusement parks, and bars are all at your doorstep.
The space: This surprisingly roomy 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo easily sleeps 6. Your stay includes one bedroom with a king-sized bed and a living room queen sleeper sofa. The king master bedroom has a city view, and the living area has a sweeping view of the ocean from the large window. Kids will love the set of youth bunk beds (65 inches) tucked into a fun little nook. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens to an oceanfront dining and living room. This building is equipped with an elevator. Wi-Fi, parking, television, and linens/towels are included. There are laundry facilities conveniently located on site but not inside the unit. Please note, there is NO BALCONY, though the photos give the illusion of a balcony. Parking and Wi-Fi are included.
Guest access: Enjoy the beautiful patio with heated outdoor pools, hot tubs, a children's pool, shuffleboard, and a picnic area with BBQ grills. If it's raining, take advantage of the indoor pool. The activities desk offers access to discounted tee times and tickets to area shows and attractions.

Unacceptably bad quality; should be illegal to rent out
Where do I start?
First, we traveled from northern Virginia with family including three years old. Within a few hours of checking in, I found a cockroach. The appliances are broken, rusty, and disgusting. The beds and sofas are damp, stinky, and dirty. The entire apartment smells like rubbish. When we arrived, the temperature was around 90. My master bedroom was hot as hell. The vent was broken. We communicated with the front desk, and they sent someone the next morning. So, we had to sleep on the floor including the kid. Luckily the next couple of days, the temperature was down (~75) and we had no problem.
The only good thing is the location, right on the beach, the front desk was great too. We had friendly service from them.
I honestly think this listing should be banned and it is seriously very unhealthy, especially for the kids.

Upon arrival the security had to check us in and was rude. The entire facility is dirty with food left in the walkways and stairs. Dead bugs including big roaches. The room itself was dirty with food and crumbs found in the pull out sofa. The listing said two bedrooms but the second bedroom was a closet with bunk beds. The property is old and rundown and needs updating. The listing was deceiving and we had no idea that it was an old run down hotel we booked. We left early. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Issue after issue. No towels, no pool towels, had to walk to the other facilty to finally get someone to let us get in the closet. key cards stopped working so we had to stay in one night until we could get it fixed the next morning. Toliet kept backing up and no one would come, even after several calls. Overflowed twice in one night from people upstairs flushing theirs. Let the owner of the condo know once we got back and they repsonded with checkign into this but never reached back out. for the price, this was so not worth all the headaches!

Explanation
The listing pictures made it look as if there was a balcony, though in fine print it was stated there was not a balcony. You do have sliding door that opens to the beach, so not all bad.
There was very little communication regarding check in, directions, etc. that was not initiated by me.
But overall, this was a great place to stay.
