When I booked this, it did not say anything about being a "TIMESHARE". You had to take your own trash out. Towels were limited n you could only get fresh towels on 2 days of the week and only a few hours. We had excursions planned on both of those days, so we had to go buy towels. The bathroom had dirt piled up in the corners. The bathtub/shower had jets in it. The jets were black with nasty crud on it. Black crap on the edges n where the seams met, nasty black crap hanging loose, disgusting. The kitchen floor was dirty, clearly wasn't cleaned n the carpets were not vacuumed. Build up really bad in the corners. The carpets were very worn. We wanted a nice resort. Maid service daily n just a few nice touches. We literally got nothing. The pool closed at 10:00pm, and you weren't able to access the gate to the beach. You had to go outside n around, very inconvenient. The spa n sauna were on the top floor n you had to have a special key, get from the Desk Clerk. On 3 occasions, I asked for the key n was turned down. The lobby was very small, by the time we brought the luggage cart in, there was literally no room in the lobby. The couch in the living room, the cushions were broke down and you sunk in and it literally was awful trying to get up. The whole place needs a BIG update. We couldn't go to our room and relax because of the dirty conditions. I did fill out the Review the Property gave me. They read it, and had absolutely nothing to say to me. Very disappointing. Ronda

The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds but lacked cleanliness. Easy access to the beach. One small outdoor pool and a tiny hot tub. The pool was sparkling but the hot tub had seen better days- the water was very yellow and the hot tub itself looked very old and dirty. Parking was a nightmare. The location was perfect though and walking distance to the boardwalk.

I loved the beach view we had from our room. Everything else was good too. The only thing that we didn't appreciate is that the water from our bathtub would take forever to go down the drain. It needs some attention. We stayed on the 13th floor.

I have stayed here at Schooner for many years, the room we were in had clean kitchen, bath and bed areas but the rest was dusty dirty and showing it's age. Was first time to me this building felt dated or semi cared for

the property was good the only issue that I had was the fact about getting clean towels I think that they should have their housekeepers to check on guest that are staying more than a couple of days. we had to go get our own towels and when we did we were told we got the last ones. so if we had not gotten them when we did I guess we would have had to go buy towels. we did have a beautiful view from our room looking out at the beach. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR POLICY ON TOWELS FOR YOUR GUEST FRESH TOWEL SHOIULD BE TAKEN TO GUESTS ROOMS EVERY DAY. A GUEST SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY IF THEY ARE GONNA GET FRESH TOWELS. NEXT TIME WE WILL BE STAYING WHERE WE DON'T HAVE YOU WORRY ABOUT BATH TOWELS.
