Dirty pool!!

Willow Lodge was nice older place to stay. The studio apartment was nice but the pool area was not! The pool ‘looked nice from a distance’ but needed to be cleaned and I didn’t use it.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Room smelled horrible, the bed felt like it had been slept in, sheets were not crisp. The lobby is seedy, the pool is tiny. I can't understand how this place has received such high ratings.

We have stayed there twice in the past when it was inlet sports lodge. Now that it is Willow Lodge, it has not been upgraded in a while. The signage is still the old signs and it feels a bit neglected. It used to serve breakfast, but that is no longer available. The room door locks were difficult to work.The rooms used to be vibrant and tropical. Now all beige and poor quality brown bedspreads.

not much changed from Sports Inlet to Willow

It was ok. not much changed. this year we were on the bottom floor and the room smelled musty. We stayed only a day so it wasn’t bad. I wish the new management would change the annoying shower spouts. There are 4 jets that spray all over, and a shower head. it’s confusing and annoying to simply figure out how to take a normal shower. management did change the locks from keys to cyphers, which didn’t matter to us

Definitely worth the trip

We stayed at Willow Lodge for a quick weekend trip! The lodge is located in Murrels inlet and was close to all the seafood restaurants and the Marshwalk! We loved the location because we enjoy listening to live music and eating seafood. We spent one day at Garden City Beach and one day at Huntington Beach but returned to Willow Lodge to relax before heading out to the Marshwalk! We would definitely stay here again based on the location alone! It was quiet and cozy. We enjoyed The Costa restaurant located directly beside the lodge! The filet was fantastic!

The sheets are a very high quality, but the mattresses are very hard. There are so many quality mattress options that are not super expensive. The hotel would be so much better with that upgrade.

Wonderful stay! Wife and I stayed 1 night for a quick getaway from the kids. The stay was very friendly & helpful, the room was spacious with a kitchenette including a full sized refrigerator. Comfy surroundings, we’d stay again!

We stayed here many times when it was Inlet Sports Lodge. They no longer serve free breakfast and it’s not as super clean as it used to be. Lobby smells a bit like cigars. Still very nice room and comfortable. Also a great location. Not sure why but the place was empty.
