The room was small but big enough for me and spotlessly clean. There is a key card reader in the elevator which is nice for security. The light breakfast was welcome, especially considering how fewer hotels are offering this service these days. The coffee was freshly ground using the machine, and pastries on offer were good quality. Overall I would stay again.

The rooms are tiny. TINY. Breakfast is basically non-existent- some small croissants and tiny yogurts. Pillows were rock hard. However, the location is great for being nearby the train station, which we needed to get to Suzuka for the F1 race. Staff is nice enough. Items not regularly used were dusty in the room, and the fridge is nice to have but they need to elevate it to free up vital floor space. It was sufficient but nothing above average.

Overall I had a good stay at Compass and would book again when in Nagoya. The breakfast was small and simple but had enough basic options. Room was small but well appointed. Property is very handy to Nagoya Station and close to many good dining options. This hotel is also very affordable which is a bonus.
