Convenient and friendly business hotel

This has been my second stay at Hotel Abest Shinanjo Ekimae for business. It is one of those basic but functional three star provincial business hotels. It is very conveniently located within a 2min walk from the train station and within a stone’s throw of very good local restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and speaks reasonable English considering the area.

何とも不可解

地域・値段から類推して、ビジネスホテルでも上等かと期待をもっていった。着いてみると、予想は大外れ。地方のビジネスホテルとしてもC級というところ。これでは、支払った金額の２/３が妥当なところ。あまりにも不思議で、帰宅後にホテルの値段を調べてみた。まあ、そんなものでしょう。hotel.comで、あの値段をつけた意味、また表示金額に税・サービス料が載せられた理由が不可思議である。
