Very kind helpful staff, deep soaker tub in the bathroom, great selection at breakfast, and perfectly located for trains and restaurants. The only downside was that the bed in our original room was very soft and sunken so we asked to be moved to a different room.

Likes: great location, easy access to trains and busses. Clean. Generous with provisions - including daily complimentary facial wash set with moisturiser. 2 complimentary bottlefy water daily etc. quiet despite being in a busy central location. Just an escalator down are many restaurants including the superb din dai fung. Great buffet breakfast- the eel rice is a super plus! Staff polite. Easy self check out service. Cons: the room is small but considering the central location that is to be expected in major cities. Breakfast although good is similar daily so might get a bit boring for those staying for longer days.

This was a beautiful hotel attached to the Nagoya JR Station. It was so convenient. The reception staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. The rooms were so nice. The decor, cleanliness, and amenities were wonderful. I wished that I could have stayed a few more days. I couldn't have made a better decision by staying at this hotel while in Nagoya. It was easy walking to Noritake, Nagoya Castle, and the Toyota Museum. Highly recommend staying here.

The Nagoya JR Gate Tower hotel is most centrally located to public transportation: JR rail lines, local train lines, Shinkansen, public buses, taxis. Shopping & dining options are just 2 floors down below the 15th floor hotel lobby, with a very nice convenient Mart & a pharmacy on the same floor. The hotel is very clean & well maintained. All staffs work really hard to welcome & serve guests. Mr. Fukunishi helped me check in so graciously. Breakfasts at the hotel’s Gatehouse restaurant (a beautiful restaurant) are so fresh & delicious. It is a real delight to stay here!
