This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at this wonderful hotel, and it gets better every time. It is classy without being pretentious, with a perfect location, it also feels homegrown and sophisticated all at once. We had a lovely oceanside stay here. The hotel has a quiet, charming, homey feel. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. I only wish the breakfast would be served a bit earlier than 8 am.

Unless you’re renting a beach house, this is the place to stay in the outer banks. We have stayed at several hotels in the area, and surfside is head and shoulders above the rest. Perfect staff, perfect setup, perfect location Ten out of ten.
