cancelled my reservation as my flight was delayed and missed ferry and then charged me more when had to rebook as they gave away my single room and i had to take a double bed room next day; just because did not cancel due to i had to find new transportation and hotel the night before. it was very inconvenient. lots of construction and just overall staff not helpful

I been an avid visitor at the hotel, and keep coming back because of the family orientated hospitality and coziness of the room! One thing I do notice is the brick outside the patios? They are a bit outdated and wondering if there is a more openess of getting rid of them and having an accessable little gate or something? Just create a more inviting way to connect with the property and other guests? Just an idea!

Last days stay our room was only 1/2 made up. Beds were made but shortage of soap, towels. The hallways and stairs need upgrading, as it looks dirty and dumpy. The vending machine wasn’t working. No elevator to the second floor, haul your own bags up to your room.

I’ve stayed at nicer hotels for less money in Nanaimo. Other than reception area not very updated. Deadbolt on door to room doesn’t lock, extremely hot in room when checked in, ran a/c for 4 hours while out and didn’t cool rim off hardly at all.

The rooms smell musty, and the lady that was training the girl up front was snooty, sarcastic and argumentative and when we asked about a dog she said there was no room for that and if you bring a dog , i will charge you 400.00.
